Diversified Adjustments

A very safe, specific, controlled force applied to a joint to restore proper function and mobility. Accidents, falls, stress or overexertion can negatively impact your spine or other joints. These changes impact tissues, the nervous system and other areas of the body.

Left unresolved, this can make you more susceptible to chronic problems. Chiropractic adjustments reduce pain, increase movement, and improve performance.

Active Release Technique | ART

The core benefit of ART is preventing and breaking up dense scar tissue, aka adhesions. Adhesions limit the normal range of motion of joints and muscles because they cause abnormal binding between muscle groups, are very tough and are inflexible compared to healthy tissue.

The reason that adhesions form is to bind injured tissues and keep them stable, however, the adhesions act like a strong “glue” and can often compress or pinch nerves. Sometimes nerves can become entrapped within the adhesion which can cause trigger points and pain to develop. The more that scar tissue forms, the more joints/tendons become strained and nerves compressed.

Fascial Movement Tape | Rocktape

Can help reduce pain, inflammation, and help with healing. When the tape is applied to the skin it sends a tactile response from body to brain, which bombards the sensory input and can reduce the amount of pain one feels.

Upon placement; the tape wants to recoil like a rubber band which helps to lift the skin and allow the inflammation to reduce and new blood to enter the area assisting the healing process.

Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization

IASTM are metal tools that are used to help break up adhesions to restore range of motion, increased circulation, and reduce pain.

PBM | Photobiomodulation Lightforce Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a non-invasive technique to help reduce pain and inflammation. It can be safely used as an adjunct or replacement for pharmaceutical drugs. This pain relief treatment is FDA cleared and enables patients to have an alternative to drugs and surgery. Treatments last between 5 to 10 minutes depending on the condition being treated.

Treatments are administered directly to skin, as laser light can’t penetrate through layers of clothing. You will feel a soothing warmth as the therapy is administered.

Radial Pressure (Shockwave Therapy)

Radial Pressure waves are acoustic waves that generate oscillations in the tissue. The wave hits the body at the skin surface and from there travels radially into the body to a depth of around 2”. In the body, the pressure waves stimulate metabolic activity and the body’s intrinsic healing mechanism"

Benefits for Radial Pressure wave:

  1. decreased aches and pains
  2. increase blood flow to injured area
  3. activate connective tissue to become more pliable

Functional Range Conditioning | FRCms

A system of training which applies scientific methods to expanding active, usable, functional ranges of motion. It also helps to improve a person’s mobility. Benefits of FRC are injury prevention, improved neurologic function, strength development, joint health and longevity.

Corrective Exercises

Specific exercises to help correct dysfunctional movement patterns or compensation patterns one might present with in conjunction with pain or symptoms they maybe experiencing.

Once movement patterns have been corrected without compensation more progressive exercises will be issued.
